6. Rug Condition and Service Authorization

Customers must disclose known damage, prior repairs, stains, treatments, or other conditions that may affect service results. By authorizing cleaning, washing, repair, restoration, or related services, the customer acknowledges that hidden damage, weakened fibers, color bleeding, shrinkage, or other issues may become visible during service. OC Rug Liquidators is not responsible for pre-existing damage or unavoidable changes caused by the rug’s age, material, construction, condition, or prior treatment, except where caused by our negligence.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, OC Rug Liquidators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, this website, its products, or its services. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury, or any other liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to applicable consumer-protection laws and any court with mandatory jurisdiction, disputes relating to these Terms, the website, products, or services will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Orange County, California.

9. Orders and Payments

All orders are subject to acceptance and product availability. Prices, applicable taxes, shipping charges, and other fees will be shown before the order is completed. Payment must be successfully processed before an order is confirmed. We may cancel or refuse an order due to pricing errors, suspected fraud, product unavailability, or other reasonable business reasons. Any payment collected for a canceled order will be refunded.

If we cannot ship an order within the stated time, or within 30 days when no shipping time is stated, we will notify the customer and provide the option to consent to the delay or cancel the unshipped order for a prompt refund. OC Rug Liquidators is not responsible for carrier delays, weather, incorrect delivery information, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control after shipment.

12. Returns and Refunds

Returns, exchanges, and refunds are governed by the Return and Refund Policy posted on our website or provided at the time of purchase. Eligibility may depend on the product’s condition, the time elapsed since purchase, proof of purchase, and other requirements stated in that policy. Certain rugs, custom orders, clearance items, special-order items, and completed services may be final sale or otherwise ineligible for return or refund where permitted by law. Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method unless otherwise required by law.

We make reasonable efforts to display product colors and details accurately. However, actual colors may vary due to screen settings, lighting, photography, and natural variations in handmade rugs. Slight differences in color, pattern, size, texture, or weave are not considered defects.
